Universe Ultra: Silverbolt is noteworthy in that he is large enough to bully and intimidate the Gen 1 Superion. Silverbolt transforms into a jet bomber, and appears to be extensively articulated in his robot mode. Heâs equipped with a projectile-firing blaster somewhat shaped into the semblance of the original Silverboltâs electrostatic discharger rifle. Silverbolt features a vehicle speed of Mach 1.9, with a range of 4500 miles. Silverbolt was created by the Autobots along with the other Aerialbots to offset the advantage provided to the Decepticons by the newly created Stunticons. Chosen as the leader of the Aerialbots, Silverbolt was forced to contend with a nearly overpowering fear of heights, which fueled mild derision among the other Aerialbots during the Aerialbotsâ early malcontentedness. Silverbolt managed to conquer his fear, and defined himself as a heroic and resourceful commander.
